SMS Consent & Messaging Terms

Last updated: May 31, 2026

Plain-language summary: AutoDiag sends SMS messages only to people who have given explicit consent at the repair shop or in the Owner App. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Standard message and data rates may apply.

1. Who sends these messages

SMS messages are sent by AutoDiag (operated by Viktor Pyrkov, Sole Proprietor, 3601 NE 207th Street, Suite 1310, Aventura, FL 33180, USA) on behalf of independent auto repair shops that use the AutoDiag Pro platform to communicate with their customers. Messages are transmitted through Twilio Inc., a US-based licensed messaging provider.

2. How vehicle owners opt in to receive SMS

Vehicle owners provide their mobile phone number to a participating repair shop in one of three ways:

  1. At the front desk during vehicle drop-off: the service advisor enters the customer's mobile number into the AutoDiag shop dashboard, and the customer signs (on paper or on a tablet) a service authorization that includes explicit consent to receive SMS updates about their repair, appointment reminders, estimate links, and payment links.
  2. Through the AutoDiag Owner App: when the customer creates an account, they must explicitly check an SMS opt-in checkbox before they can receive any text messages from a shop. The checkbox is not pre-checked.
  3. By replying START to a shop-initiated message: in cases where a shop has the customer's phone number from a prior visit and the customer wants to begin receiving SMS, the shop sends a one-time message asking the customer to reply START to confirm consent.

3. Types of messages we send

After opting in, you may receive any of the following message types from your repair shop through AutoDiag:

4. Message frequency

Frequency varies by the volume of repair activity on your vehicle. A typical customer receives 2–8 messages per repair visit. Outside of an active repair, you may receive 0–2 reminder messages per quarter for upcoming service. We do not send marketing campaigns, promotional offers, or third-party advertising over SMS.

5. Sample messages

Here are examples of the messages you may receive:

[Shop Name]: Reminder — your [Year Make Model] service is scheduled for tomorrow, May 31, at 9:00 AM. Reply C to confirm or R to reschedule. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.

6. How to opt out (STOP)

You can stop receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from AutoDiag. We will send one final confirmation message acknowledging that you have opted out, and we will not send any further SMS messages to that phone number. You may resume by replying START or by speaking with your repair shop.

Opting out of SMS does not opt you out of email or in-app notifications. To manage those, log in to the Owner App or contact your repair shop directly.

7. How to get help (HELP)

Reply HELP to any AutoDiag SMS message to receive a short response with our contact information. You can also email [email protected] or call +1 (561) 843-1993 for assistance.

8. Carrier disclosures

Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier's standard messaging rates apply to messages you send and receive. AutoDiag does not charge a fee for SMS messages, but your carrier may.

Supported US carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and most regional carriers. Service may be unavailable in some areas or on some carriers; we are not responsible for delays or failures in message delivery caused by the carrier network.

AutoDiag and the carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Privacy

Phone numbers collected for SMS messaging are used only to deliver the messages described above. We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes. See our full Privacy Policy for details on data handling, retention, and your rights.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update these SMS terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by SMS or email to opted-in users at least 30 days before taking effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
